There Are No Friends in Business. Or Are There?

It’s time to get out, plug in, and meet like-minded people

It’s fair to say most of us understand the unquestionable perks of working remotely (did someone say a short commute to the couch and Zoom meetings in PJ pants)? But here’s another thing we’ve all learnt: business can be a lonely experience, and nothing can replace having a genuine, face-to-face, human-to-human conversation. Here at the Penrith Valley Chamber, we have a diverse array of members in various stages of business waiting to create connections, networks, and friendships. We would love for you to be part of the conversation.

You can play with the rest, or you can play with the best

Here’s the deal: there are countless networking groups at your fingertips, all offering similar networking opportunities. How do you choose? You select the one that’s different to the rest. Hint: it’s ours. Penrith Valley Chamber isn’t just a networking organisation–we’re a collective of the most ambitious and driven business owners in Penrith, and we care about the reputation of the community we’ve built. We’re an inner circle. But not the kind of inner circle that feels stuffy and unwelcoming–that’s not our style. We love welcoming new members to our fold, in fact, we’ve created a buddy system for newbies. Curious? Become a member today and meet your business buddy.

Frock up and show up, or Zoom in and win. The choice is yours.

You know the saying, you get out what you put in? Cliche, we know, but oh so true in every sense. Business growth is a result of consistently showing up–networking/professional development is no different. Which is why we provide an abundance of opportunities for you to engage in. From Chamber Collective breakfast meetups, and signature business lunches, to Chamber Connect evening events. And if face-to-face isn’t your thing, we got you covered with online workshops. Best thing is, you’re not committed to any of the events, so you can pick and choose what suits you best.

Lights On Penrith Summit

If you’re looking to grow your business, Penrith is the place to be. Our city is experiencing enormous growth and development as it moves into a stage of supporting and servicing one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions – the Western Parkland City – which will house the Western Sydney Airport.

With so much investment planned for the Penrith/Nepean region in the near future, how can your local business identify and leverage the opportunities presented for growth now?

Attend our Lights On Penrith summits.

Fun fact
Penrith has always been at the forefront of innovation; on October 3, 1890, we became the first city in the Sydney region to use electricity. A public holiday was declared as thousands of people lined the streets to witness the momentous occasion as the then Mayoress ‘flicked the switch’ and turned the lights on in Penrith.

“No one can whistle a symphony. It takes a whole orchestra to play it.”
